ABSTRACT: Aileen Wournos claimed to have been raped by many of the men that she killed, but later admitted that she didn't kill in self-defense. Had she not admitted to deliberately killing six men, her profession (prostitute), as well as the general difficulty of proving rape, might well have kept her from receiving a fair ruling in any case.
