He has been involved as a communicator in the transplant field since 1976 when he became public relations director of the National Kidney Foundation, a position he held for 11 years. In 1990 he founded Transplant News, the only independent newsletter covering the entire transplant field worldwide for the past 16 years. He has a MS in Journalism from Syracuse University."
